YOUR PROBLEM ? ......................... OUR SOLUTION
PROBLEM 1: The western wall of my house is exposed to rains. I have tried all types of waterproofing paints, but continue to have water leakage problem, do you have any products for this?
SOLUTION
Only
applying waterproofing paints will not solve your problem. It needs detailed
investigation to find out the actual cause. If there are any cracks, it
needs to be determined, in the first place, as to why cracks have developed
in the walls. A well designed and constructed structure should have no
reason to developed cracks. If the cracks are larger and there is some
doubt the structural design then show the wall first to a local structural
engineer to rule out any structural inadequacies.
However if the cracks are small and there is no problem with structure and if the consultant recommends use of a flexible crack-filling compound then CRACKSEAL can be used for filling the cracks.
Once cracks are filler, clean the surface and apply WATERGUARD S in the two coats at an interval of 4-5 hours. It is an acrylic based elastomeric coating that has been specially formulated for external heavy duty waterproofing applications. It is UV resistant, durable, ready to use and can be tinted to match the shade of your building.
It is important that, if the cracks exist on the surface above your floor then they also need to be treated.
