above 300c and now a days due to global warming waves it
increases 1.3 times, results in more and more rainfall. This both
significant phenomena of nature causes an adverse effects on any type
of civil engineering structure. Hence it is a present day need to have
such material, which by simple application only can serve both the
purposes of waterproof coat & insulation coat. Our newly developed
unique product WATERGUARD I is specially designed for this purpose
only.

PRODUCT :
DESCRIPTION
: WATERGUARD I is two
part polymer based waterproof coating, specially designed to ensure
perfect water tightness with insulating property to bring down inner
temperature and ensure the flexibility to cover the thermal stresses.

PACKING
& COVERAGE :
Available
in prepacked two components pack of 10 kg. powder and 5 kg. Liquid,

upon nature of substrates.
APPLICATIONS

Surface
Preparation : Prior to apply the coat of WATERGUARD I all
surfaces needs perfect cleaning, all loose particales and
laitance should be cleaned perfectly. Persisting cracks should
be sealed with suitable crack filling material such as CRACKSEAL.
Then surface should prewet and excess water is to be removed |

Mixing
: Two part
of WATERGUARD
I need very well mixing by
means of mechanical or electrical drill attached with paddle.
Powder should be mix slowly into liquid continuously until a
homogenous mix obtained. |

Application
: On prepared
surface apply two coats of WATERGUARD I by brush or roller,
mixed WATERGUARD I should be used within 20 to 25 minutes of
mixing. |

PERFORMANCE TEST :
At
our well established centralized laboratory we had conducted
performance
tests for
WATERGUARD
I
for two properties.

WATER TIGHTNESS
b)
INSULATION CAPACITY

Water Tightness : For Water
Tightness check drop of water level is been checked in two
chambers for 24 hours of time period. One chamber is been coated
with WATERGUARD I & another is coated with plain plaster
only and results obtained & tabulated as Table 1. Insulation Capacity : For Insulation Check the variations of
temperature inside the two chambers, one coated with WATERGUARD
I and another simply plastered is been checked during the day
time (from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) and the recorded temperature
is been tabulated as Table 2.

CONCLUSION
